New goodies
Ok, so I haven't gotten off the Tarot high yet. I'm still checking out decks in every store I go and occasionally drooling over the "eye candy". I added to the collection at home and enjoying every minute of it.
The newest additions to the chests are Madame Endora's Fortune Cards (with artwork by Christine Filipak) and the Revelations Tarot Boxed Set by Zach Wong. (courtesy of the ladies at Isis www.isisbooks.com) Both are lovely to behold and satisfy my cravings. The big thing that draws me to a deck is the illustrations. They need to cause a reaction for me. For the moment, Madame Endora's is my piece of fluffly cotton candy (and this isn't a bad thing so don't go getting huffy). Revelations is the first deck where reversals actually make sense to me. Not bad for someone's first published deck. I'll share more about these two as my familiarity grows.
Now let's prusue through the book shelves and see what else I've added. Hmm...Playing Card Divination for Beginners by Richard Webster.....Everyday Tarot Magic by Dorothy Morrison (lovely woman but definitely intimidating in the flesh)....Bulfinch's Mythology ( a bargain purchase in hardback)....Rituals of the Dark Moon by Gail Wood.....Dark Moon Mysteries by Timothy Roderick (the start of a whole new article)...latest catalogs from Sacred Source www.sacredsource.com and The Pyramid Collection www.pyramidcollection.com ...Ivanhoe (needs to be packed with the other antiques)...Classic Erotic Tales (now what in blazes is that doing there. Definitely in the wrong bookcase). As you can see, I may not have been typing recently but I've definitely got some reading to do. I'll type at you later...Bright Blessings
(In case you haven't gotten the whiff yet from other postings, I'm a big one for doing free advertising. I love to share my love of books and encourage people down new roads and avenues in their journey. But I'll also be the first to tell you that what works for me may not be the path for you.)
